No — ParcelCard is an independent tool, not affiliated with any county government. It sources information from public county records and live public data feeds (like FEMA flood maps), but it isn't the county's own system, and it isn't a substitute for one. Every property page links directly to the source county's own official record for exactly this reason.
It depends on the specific field and county. Some information (like flood zone status) is checked live, in real time, on every visit. Other information reflects each county's own bulk data exports, updated on that county's own schedule, not ours. Where we know a specific piece of data might be incomplete or uncertain, we say so directly on the page rather than presenting it with false confidence.
Coverage is shown live on the ParcelCard homepage and grows over time. As of this writing, it spans several North Carolina counties in and around the Triangle region.
